Coming from the mandrels of the famous R97X, this brand new generation of rods uses a new
manufacturing process allowing a mandrel drainage of the sections without nerve, which
brings a comfort of use and a remarkable rod hold without having to align the sections of your
rod. Coming from a new generation carbon TORAYCA, this new high-tech range is compatible
with each other, on the old R97X range but also on the R16 range for sections n ° 4 and n ° 2.
The R988 and R986 models have a brand new "nom peinture" coating, this new revolutionary
process allows a lightening of the rod in the sun and heat, which will cause a significant
lowering of the temperature of the rod for tenfold fishing comfort.
With a real length of 13 meters without mini extension, then 11.50 meters and 10 meters
with a mini reinforcement extension, this range meets all the standards of international
competition without losing its qualities by adding heel pads.
